Smoking is the NUMBER ONE PREVENTABLE cause of death in the NATION.

Short-term effects of smoking are: bad breath, stained teeth, shortness of breath, smelly clothes, smelly hair, rapid heart rate, reduced circulation, coldhands/feet, increased coughing, increased wheezing, allergy flare-ups, more colds/flu/pneumonia, and decreased sense of taste and smell.

3,000 American teenagers become regular smokers daily, over 1 MILLION ANNUALLY! (CDC report, 1990)

Smoking cigarettes can cause premature facial wrinkles and impotence.

Nationally, 3,279,000 youth between the ages of 12 and 17 smoke an average of 16 cigarettes per day. (CHC)
